Full Time Fostering
Long term fosters are dedicated volunteers that agree to bring a foster pet home & care for them until they are able to find their forever home. Wiggles Way requires that a full time foster is lined up before we can agree to pull a new dog or cat out of the shelter & are able to foster for a minimum of two weeks. This is a great option for fosters who want to see their foster pets through from exiting the shelter to their adoptive homes. The number of willing full time fosters we have directly impacts the number of dogs & cats we are able to save!
Temporary Fostering
If you are unable to commit to a long-term commitment to foster a pet, but still want to get involved & help out when you can, temporary fostering is for you! Temporary fosters support our full time fosters & are equally as vital to our mission! Whether our full time fosters are going out of town for the weekend, a couple of weeks, or just need a set of extra hands every now & then, it is vital that we have short term options for continuing care. Think you have a schedule too packed to even temporarily foster? Sign up because there’s always a chance an animal could need you one day! Our temporary foster network ensures that our full time fosters do not have to turn down a new foster animal due to upcoming travel & can instead be confident their foster will be in good hands while they’re away.
